  had my mums birthday lunch in november for 17 of us, the food and service was spot on (only one thing, wee bit more mash n veg) so, my neice had her baby shower today, 30 for lunch, not enough tables set up, had to ask for extra table n chairs, also asked for table clothes,( not a problem from the staff, so accomodating and helpfull} BUT, if it was my first time eating there, i would not go back, not enough staff, 6 people at my table had eaten there main before my sister had got hers, that was quite uncomfortable, as she felt she had to rush her food. the chicken and beef was soooo dry, 2 that i know of got the fish, couldnt eat it as it had so many bones in it. overall the timing was so wrong and food precooked to long, i think if the 2 lovely waitresses had just been left to look after our function and more staff in for the front of house then it would have went more smoothly. lorraine

  Great food and drinks in the restaurant and lounge, 3 big TVs in the lounge for the football, near train station and on local bus route.
